Community rules (forum)

The forum is the place to talk about Bodycam: patches, tactics, clips, bugs and finding a squad. You need to sign in with Steam to post, comment or vote. By doing so you agree to these rules.

1. The basics

  • Respect others. Criticize ideas, not people.
  • Post in the right community with a clear title. Search before repeating a topic.
  • Vote on quality, not agreement. Don't ask for votes or use multiple accounts to vote.

2. What's NOT allowed

  • Insults, harassment, threats, discrimination or hate speech.
  • Spam, advertising, selling or trading accounts, keys, cheats, exploits meant to harm others, or boosting.
  • Other people's personal data (doxxing): real name, address, phone number, etc.
  • Sexual content, explicit real-world violence or any illegal content.
  • Impersonating another person, the studio or moderators.
  • Copyright-infringing content: upload your own clips, or link to the original source.

Links in posts can only point to well-known video and screenshot sites (YouTube, Twitch, Medal, Streamable, Steam, X or Imgur) and to this website.

3. What you post is public

Your posts, comments and votes are tied to your public Steam name and avatar. You can edit or delete your posts and comments at any time. When you delete them, the text is removed and the thread shows "[deleted]" so the conversation isn't broken.

Threads don't expire: they're kept while they remain published. You can delete your account from your profile. Your content will be emptied and your votes and reports removed.

4. How to report

Every post and comment has a "Report" button.

  • When content gets 3 reports from different accounts, it's removed automatically until a moderator reviews it.
  • Moderators can remove or restore content, lock or pin threads, and suspend accounts for serious or repeated violations.
  • For allegedly illegal content you can also email contact@bodycamforo.com with the URL and the reason.

This mechanism complies with Article 16 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act). If we remove your content or suspend your account and you disagree, you can request a review at contact@bodycamforo.com. We'll reply with our reasons.
