On May 29, 2025, Reissad started posting regular Steam updates on its 2025 roadmap. Until then, previews had only been shared on its official Discord.

Optimization (part III)

A specialized team had already integrated DLSS along with performance and stability improvements. The studio also announced a major VRAM optimization that "should significantly improve performance across most setups".

Loadouts and weapons: the main focus

The core team was building a brand-new loadout system:

  • Reworked weapon animations.
  • New weapons, such as the Raider X, shown for the first time.
  • Thousands of attachments, with variants and skins.
  • Real gameplay effects for each item, not just visuals.

This system eventually shipped in Locked & Loaded with around 400 attachments.

Drones and animations

  • New drone types, each with its own purpose, strengths and drawbacks.
  • A full animation overhaul, designed to support tactical and stressed reloads, smoother transitions and weapon behavior that adapts to the loadout.

Maps

  • A third team was building the game's largest zombie map, with easter eggs, secrets and challenges. It became Village.
  • A new close-quarters CQB map, which arrived alongside Village in v0.7.0.
  • Oil Rig was being rebuilt from scratch, and Tumblewood was getting readability and competitive flow improvements.

The promised schedule

For June, July and August 2025 the studio listed:

  • VRAM optimization.
  • Loadouts and animations.
  • Dozens of new weapons and attachments.
  • The zombie map.
  • A UI rework, starting with settings.
  • Host migration.
  • A voting system.

Some of it arrived in November 2025 (Village, map voting) and the rest in September 2026, so those dates turned out to be optimistic.
