With Locked & Loaded the mode list changed: Wingman 2v2 replaced Bodybomb 5v5 as the competitive mode, and Zombies was temporarily disabled. Here's where things stand as of September 25, 2026.

Modes at a glance

Mode Format Rank/ELO Reissad Points bonus
Wingman 2v2 rounds with a bomb Yes (the only one) +100%
Versus 1v1 round-based duels No +100%
Hardpoint Teams fight to hold a zone No +75%
Team Deathmatch Teams, first to 75 kills No +50%
Deathmatch Free-for-all, first to 40 kills No +50%
Gun Game New weapon with every kill No +25%
Zombies Co-op against waves — Disabled

Multipliers come from patch v0.8 #2; kill limits from patch #1.

Wingman 2v2: the competitive mode

  • It's the only mode with rank and ELO.
  • Fast rounds in tighter spaces, with bomb plants and defuses.
  • For now it's solo queue only "for technical reasons". Duo will likely arrive with the new party system.
  • Coming from Bodybomb: fewer players, shorter rounds and every mistake costs more.

Versus: 1v1 duels

The round-based duel mode, first to 5 rounds since November 2024. Alongside Wingman it pays the most Reissad Points, and it's great for practicing aim and peeking.

Hardpoint: hold the zone

Teams fight to capture and hold a zone. Since v0.8 it's also played on Trenches and CQB. A good middle ground: solid points without round pressure.

Team Deathmatch and Deathmatch

  • Team Deathmatch: first team to 75 kills wins, up from 50.
  • Deathmatch: free-for-all, first to 40 kills, up from 30.

These are the modes for warming up, testing a new loadout or learning a map.

Gun Game

Every kill moves you to the next weapon in the list. v0.8 added new weapon pools, and patch #1 fixed too many pistols showing up. It pays the fewest points, but it's the most laid-back.

What happened to Bodybomb and Zombies?

  • Bodybomb 5v5 was retired in v0.8; Wingman takes its place as the competitive mode.
  • Zombies was pulled to be rebuilt, and the studio intends to bring it back for Halloween. Details in when party and Zombies return.

Which mode should you pick?

  • Want to rank up: Wingman.
  • Want Reissad Points fast: Wingman or Versus. More tips in the Reissad Points guide.
  • Just starting: Deathmatch or Team Deathmatch, to learn maps without pressure.
  • Playing with friends: a custom match from the Custom tab, which pays 50% of the points. Guide: how to play with friends without party.
