The sixth v0.8 patch (September 25, 2026) is a short one, as the studio itself says. The key part is at the end of the notes: it's likely the last v0.8 patch, and the team is now focused on the party system, anti-cheat and "other stuff that we're going to reveal later."

Party: going well, but not yet

Reissad says the party system "isn't ready yet, but it's going well". Internal tests look better than last week and what they're building "is getting solid", but they need more time.

The plan hasn't changed:

  1. First, an internal version they're happy with.
  2. Then, release it on a Steam experimental branch so players can stress test it and report what breaks.

What it means: party won't arrive for everyone at once, but first as an opt-in test. Meanwhile, the custom match workaround still works.

Fewer patches, and next up is an intermediate update

  • Barring something urgent, no more weekly patches for a while.
  • The next release won't be a patch but a "minor/intermediate" update, with details to come as soon as possible.
  • The team is finishing a post-mortem of the past year and going through community feedback to plan and share what comes next.

We track all of it in upcoming Bodycam updates.

Stability

  • Fixed some modes having more players than allowed after host migration, especially visible in 2v2 Wingman.
  • Improved match reliability around player limits during host migration.
  • Fixed several weapon-state issues: ammo visibility, reloads, swaps and dropped weapons.
  • The film grain setting now applies properly.

Progression & UI

  • The Reissad Points cap is raised to 50,000.
  • The UI now tells you when you hit the cap.
  • Fixed player counts not refreshing properly in the server browser.

If you were stockpiling points, you now have more room. Tips in the Reissad Points guide.

Anti-AFK

  • More reliable AFK kick notifications. Anti-AFK arrived in patch #5.

Weapons, animations & equipment

  • Bolt-action weapons no longer stop reloading when the reserve ammo runs out.
  • Bolt-actions with a full magazine no longer block other actions after reloading.
  • Ammo displays more consistently during mag checks, reloads and firing.
  • Weapon animations and their audio no longer continue after swapping or dropping a weapon.
  • Fixed Glock animations: the hammer, and the elbow when inspecting.
  • Fixed an issue with the Deagle Ifriee bundle.

Tablet

  • Updated the default tablet screen material behavior.
